Pacific and Indian oceans; Mediterranean, Arabian and Red aeas.
Size: 
Female 1.0-1.3 mm; male 0.8-1.0 mm
Diet: 
Phytoplankton, zooplankton, bacteria and detritus.
Predators: 
Gelatinous zooplankton and others.
Useful Facts or Characters: 

In the female, corners of the last prosome segment with at least one small spine; 1st antennae reach the end of the caudal rami.  In the male, urosome with 5 segments; 1st antennae reach the end of the 2nd prosome segment.

Natural History: 

Appears to be present in the springtime in this area.
