Mainly coastal-neritic, epipelagic.

Female 0.6-1.3 mm; male 0.8-1.4 mm

Phytoplankton.

1st antennae are longer than the prosome; prosome of female with 4 segments and urosome with 4 segments.
Natural History:
Occurs year round off San Diego. A euryhaline species, capable of tolerating a range of salt water concentrations.
