Distribution: 
Nearshore waters along coast of North America.
Habitat: 
Coastal, particularly bays and harbors.
Size: 
50-60 mm bell diameter, as adults.
Diet: 
Small pelagic and benthic crustaceans.
Useful Facts or Characters: 

Has about 100 or more thin, long tentacles around the bell.

Natural History: 

Commonly called a bell jelly.
